The Whitco 5 Disc Lockable Chainwinder is a reliable chain-operated window winder designed for residential and light commercial awning windows. Its integrated 5-disc wafer cylinder provides key-operated locking, while the push-to-lock mechanism allows the window to be secured simply by pressing the lock button. The Keyed Alike (KA) configuration allows multiple Whitco 5-disc chainwinders to operate from the same key, making it particularly practical for installations with several windows. Two Whitco keys are supplied. The chainwinder provides smooth operation through flyscreens and can open the window up to 300mm with approximately 19 handle turns. A foldable handle knob reduces the overall profile when not in use, helping minimise interference with blinds and curtains. The Black finish provides a clean appearance for contemporary window installations, while the unit can retrofit existing Whitco MK7 and MK8 chainwinders. Restricted opening options are also available using compatible restrictor clips.
