The W632461 Spring Sash Balance 900 Standard Duty 6–9.25kg – Black is a window balance designed for aluminium-frame double-hung windows. This spring balance uses a narrow tension spring balance design combined with a friction-foot system developed for aluminium windows. The adjustable friction pads and range of adjustable feet allow the balance to suit compatible aluminium window sections and help provide controlled sash movement. The internal construction incorporates an oil-tempered galvanised carbon steel tension spring and a stainless steel bow spring, while the outer casing is made from tough ABS black polymer for a durable finish. The W632461 is specified for a 6kg to 9.25kg window weight range, making it suitable for compatible standard-duty residential aluminium double-hung windows within this range. The product is tested to the Australian Standard and carries a Whitco 10-year mechanical warranty. This model is 900mm in length and is supplied as a trade-pack product.
