The Yale Quattro Hinged Security Door Lock Black (Y8104Blk) is a fourth-generation mortice deadlock designed for residential hinged aluminium and timber screen or security doors. Manufactured by ASSA ABLOY, the Quattro features a re-engineered chassis designed as a direct replacement for industry-standard Tasman MK3 locksets. The DualSelect two-stage locking system provides two locking modes. Privacy Mode allows the door to remain locked from outside while permitting quick exit using the internal snib. Deadlock Mode locks the handles and snib, requiring a key for entry or exit. For enhanced physical security, the lock incorporates an extra-wide serrated anti-jemmy projection bolt designed to resist forced entry attempts. An internal visual indicator shows when the lock has been placed into deadlock mode. The Quattro is also compatible with legacy Tasman MK3 three-point locking kits, allowing auxiliary multipoint rods to be operated directly by the internal snib. The lock is supplied less cylinder, with a compatible lazy cam euro cylinder required separately.
