The Yarra View/Slim Multi D Handle sliding door lock combines a slimline 30mm footprint with a heavy-duty twin-beak locking mechanism, making it suitable for a wide range of sliding doors — including high-strength doors fitted with stiffening wings. It accommodates door thicknesses from 21mm to 46mm, giving it broad compatibility across residential and light commercial sliding door installations. Security is provided by twin counteracting beaks that engage an all-metal catch plate, resisting jemmying attempts and restraining the door against being lifted off its rails. The self-adjusting catch plate simplifies installation and automatically compensates for door movement and wear over time, helping maintain reliable operation without ongoing adjustment. An anti-slam plunger prevents the door from being closed while the beaks are extended, protecting both the beaks and catch plate from impact damage during use. Designed and manufactured in Australia, this lock is supplied in a Black powdercoated finish. The cylinder is sold separately, allowing it to be paired with a compatible cylinder to suit the installation.
