PS13 13mm Fringe Pile x 100M Black - Black (Hware)

The PS13 13mm Fringe Pile (100-Metre Roll, Black) is a high-performance architectural woven brush weather-strip, commonly known in the trade as "mohair" or a wiping seal. It acts as a low-friction perimeter barrier for moving sashes and screen panels. Featuring an extra-tall 13mm vertical pile profile, this fringe pile is engineered to bridge substantial structural clearances, irregular frame gaps, and variations along uneven surfaces. It is built with a 2.9mm to 3mm wide rigid backing strip, optimised to slide seamlessly into standard T-slot retaining channels extruded inside aluminium window and door frames. The brush fibres are woven from UV-stabilised polypropylene yarn, engineered for maximum resistance to atmospheric abrasion, ozone degradation, cracking, and moisture absorption over extended lifespans. The pile is supplied as a continuous 100-metre roll, reducing material scrap margins for high-volume fabrication workshops and commercial glass installers, and is finished in deep Black to visually disappear inside modern dark powder-coated or dark anodised framing profiles. Due to its significant 13mm height, this fringe pile is primarily specified as a bug seal / insect guard along the bottom or interlocking edge of sliding security and insect screen doors, as a wiping skirting seal on aluminium shopfront perimeters to stop drafts and dust infiltration, and to fill dynamic tracking gaps on horizontal stacking doors across multi-panel moving glass walls.
