PRG034 Spigot Osg 30mm Pocket - Black

The Alspec PRG034 Spigot (Black) is a structural internal alignment component engineered exclusively for the Alspec ProGlide High-Performance Sliding Door system. The spigot acts as a rugged internal corner chassis block, sliding directly into the hollow inner chambers where the vertical frame stiles intersect the horizontal rails, clamping the members into a rigid, monolithic structure. It is specifically designed for OSG (On-Site Glazing) door configurations, allowing the glazing contractor to structurally assemble the aluminium panel framework first, leaving the glass pocket clear for subsequent onsite glass drop insertion. Precision-machined to clear and align with a 30mm profile frame pocket, the spigot provides necessary structural clearance for specific framing tracks without causing internal profile or glass binding. It helps prevent sliding door sash twisting, bowing, and long-term corner sagging under the stress of continuous physical impact and extreme kinetic movement. Coated in a factory Black finish, the PRG034 sits completely concealed or visually blends within dark powder-coated or black anodised sliding door sections. It belongs to the high-performance commercial and multi-residential platform and is standard specification for large architectural stacking patio doors, Alspec ProGlide Commercial Sliding and Minimalist Stacking Door framing networks, and double or triple track commercial shopfront door suite fabrications.
