Onyx D Handle/Slim Pull Uni Strike No Cyl - Black

The Onyx D-Handle / Slim Pull Universal Strike Sliding Door Lock (No Cylinder, Black) is a premium commercial-grade mortice lockset designed by ASSA ABLOY / Austral Lock for high-performance aluminium sliding patio doors, standard specification across premium architectural framing networks like Alspec. The lock is outfitted with an interior prominent D-Handle for maximum ergonomic grip and structural leverage, paired with an exterior ultra-low-profile Slim Pull plate. This slim exterior profile ensures the handle cleanly clears bypass flyscreens or security doors without catching or jamming. The lock is shipped as a complete handle and mortice lock assembly but excludes the physical key cylinder barrel, allowing builders and locksmiths to install custom Euro-profile cylinders on-site to match a universal project key structure. Security is provided by a heavy-duty twin-counterbalanced hook chassis. The dual-hook design active-locks from opposite directions into the strike plate, providing exceptional resistance against jemmying and physical lifting attacks. The lock is packaged with a specialised Universal Strike Plate, fully adjustable with multi-directional mounting options, allowing installers to align the latch cleanly on both standard face-fix or recessed deep pocket frame channels. Constructed from structural zinc die-cast alloys and coated in a durable Matt Black powdercoat, the Onyx lockset blends seamlessly with modern dark-framed aluminium joinery. A built-in safety button provides anti-slam protection, preventing the locking hooks from deploying unless the door is completely closed, stopping users from accidentally throwing the hooks and denting the frame when slamming the door. The lock is rigorously cycle and impact tested to comply with AS4145.2 Australian Standards for high-security mechanical residential locksets.
