GR31 Glazing Channel (6mm Glass) x 150M Roll - Black (Hware)

The GR31 Glazing Channel (6mm Glass) x 150M Roll (Black) is a high-volume trade roll of commercial-grade vinyl/flexible PVC glazing gasket, distributed through major architectural framing networks such as Alspec. It is used for dry-glazing fixed windows, office partitions, and storefront suites. The channel is explicitly engineered to house and secure 6mm monolithic glass sheets, such as toughened or laminated safety glass, within an aluminium frame pocket. It acts as a continuous wrap-around U-channel that slips over the edge of the glass pane before it is inserted into the frame pocket, replacing the need for wet silicone sealants and allowing for faster, cleaner installation and easier glass replacement. The gasket also cushions the glass from metal-on-metal frame contact, dampening structural rattles, absorbing building movement, and lowering room-to-room ambient noise transfer. It is supplied on a bulk 150-metre continuous roll, optimised for commercial joinery factories and on-site glazing contractors to minimise cutting scraps. Formulated from UV-stabilised flexible polymer in a solid Black finish, the GR31 sits discreetly against dark powder-coated or black anodised window frames. It is heavily specified across premium commercial framing systems, including fixed office partition screens and dividers, mid-rails and vision panels in Alspec Swan Evo or McArthur Evo commercial storefronts, and low-exposure residential and commercial sliding window sashes.
