DSM02 SC Magnetic Door Stop 75mm High - Satin Chrome

The DSM02 SC Magnetic Door Stop is a heavy-duty, dual-function architectural accessory suited to commercial and high-frequency-use doorways. Standing 75mm high, it acts simultaneously as a physical stop post — protecting walls, handles, and door furniture from impact damage — and as a passive hold-open device via an integrated high-strength permanent magnet. The magnet in the base engages with a matching metallic receiver plate mounted to the face of the door, holding it securely open without the need for mechanical latches, hooks, or manual engagement. This helps prevent doors from slamming shut due to drafts or sudden air pressure changes, while also protecting surrounding fittings from repeated impact. Built to a heavy-duty specification, the DSM02 uses a more robust internal construction than standard domestic-grade door stops, making it well suited to commercial fit-outs, public buildings, and areas subject to frequent or forceful door movement. It can be installed as either a floor-mounted or wall-mounted unit, depending on the anchoring surface available on site. Finished in Satin Chrome, the DSM02 offers a scratch- and fingerprint-resistant surface that coordinates well with modern stainless steel and chrome commercial hardware suites.
