The APT Interlock Seal (2.7m, Black) is an architectural weather-stripping component designed for residential and commercial aluminium sliding door and window systems. It is fitted along the interlocking vertical stiles where two sliding panels meet when closed, creating a tight, compressed barrier that seals the gap between the overlapping aluminium profiles. By sealing this junction, the seal helps block draft infiltration, reduce outside noise transmission, and prevent wind-driven rainwater or dust from penetrating the interlock area, contributing to improved comfort and weather performance for sliding door and window systems. Supplied in a 2.7-metre continuous length, the seal is sized to suit standard architectural ceiling heights or full-height sliding doors without the need for joints or splicing. Finished in Black, it is designed to sit unobtrusively within dark anodised or black powder-coated aluminium frames, making it well suited to sliding systems such as Alspec Altitude apartment sliding doors, as well as commercial ProGlide or residential Carinya sliding patio doors.
