ALT020 DG Roller Adaptor - Black

The Alspec ALT020 DG Roller Adaptor (Black) is a specialised architectural hardware component engineered exclusively for high-performance aluminium sliding door systems, belonging to premium multi-panel architectural suites such as the Alspec Altitude Residential & Apartment Sliding Door series. Designed specifically for configurations transitioning from standard single-pane glass profiles to heavy Double Glazed (DG) / Insulated Glass Units (IGUs), the adaptor fits inside the bottom horizontal door rail's internal cavity. It structurally bridges the extra-wide profile pocket required for double-glazed glass, creating a secure, rigid seating pocket to anchor heavy-duty sliding roller carriages. By keeping tracking hardware centred within the wider double-glazed bottom rail, the adaptor helps prevent the door sash from rocking or bowing under the substantial extra weight of double glass units. It is fully engineered and cycle-tested to work alongside high-capacity dual-wheel or triple-wheel rollers, ensuring seamless sliding operation under heavy glass loads. Built from a high-impact, structurally rigid polymer composite, the ALT020 is designed to absorb continuous crushing loads and moving vibrations without distorting over time. Finished in solid Black, it remains completely discrete inside matching black powder-coated or dark anodised sliding panel extrusions.
