The Alspec 2014 Standard/Parallel Arm Door Closer Kit (Sprayed Silver, Alspec Part Number: 1351032) is a commercial-grade, surface-mounted overhead door closer, providing a universal, reliable solution for standard and parallel arm configurations on interior or exterior doors. The closer is fully power-adjustable across sizes 2-4 and is certified to smoothly control door panels weighing between 40kg and 80kg, with a maximum interior door panel width of 1100mm. It features a universal application design, with each box including a parallel arm bracket and a parallel arm packer as standard, supporting both Standard Arm (pull-side frame fix) and Parallel Arm (push-side door fix) mounting orientations. Independent, non-critical adjustment valves allow fine-tuning of backcheck, closing speed, and latching speed. The chassis is cast from heavy-duty pressure die-cast aluminium with high-tensile steel rack-and-pinion internals, in a slimline main body finished in a clean Sprayed Silver coating, and is supported by a 10-year commercial manufacturer warranty. Mechanical friction hold-open devices are strictly prohibited by code for use on designated fire-rated or smoke-barrier doors.
