The 9A-522SP-01 Onyx 5 Pin Double Cylinder Assembly is part of the Lockwood Onyx range of sliding door hardware, designed to provide a combination of security, safety and contemporary architectural styling. Suitable for most compatible aluminium and timber sliding doors, the Onyx design incorporates a flexible chassis that provides a non-handed configuration, making the lock suitable for both new installations and many retrofit applications. The lock features twin locking beaks for enhanced security and a Door Close Detect (DCD) anti-slam feature, which helps protect the locking beaks from accidental damage when the door is operated. The integrated LockAlert® indicator provides a quick visual indication of the lockset status. For additional locking flexibility, DualSelect® provides two-stage key locking, while the Safety Release™ function is designed to minimise the risk of accidental lock-in. The ergonomic sliding snib uses an intuitive downward motion for unlocking. Finished in Satin Chrome, the assembly provides a clean architectural appearance that can complement a variety of sliding door furniture and hardware. The Onyx range is manufactured to meet Australian Standard requirements for strength and durability.
