The dormakaba SB2312 Kit 3A Cylinder & Turn Lock Kit is a robust commercial locking solution designed for narrow-stile aluminium and timber hinged doors. This configuration combines the SB2312 mortice lock chassis with S30 Series narrow-plate furniture and a cylinder-and-turn operating arrangement. With a 30mm backset, the lock is suited to hollow aluminium door extrusions with sufficient internal depth. The external side is designed for key-operated access, while the internal thumbturn provides convenient keyless operation from inside. The non-handed chassis allows the lock to be configured for left- or right-hand doors during installation. An auxiliary deadlatch automatically engages when the door closes, helping protect against latch manipulation and shimming. Finished in Satin Stainless Steel, the kit provides a professional architectural appearance while offering the durability required for high-frequency commercial applications. The lock is supplied without a cylinder, allowing the installer to select a compatible dormakaba 130-type oval cylinder.
