The dormakaba SB2312 Kit 3A Cylinder & Turn Lock Kit provides a robust locking solution for commercial and architectural hinged doors where a narrow-stile mortice lock is required. The 30mm backset is suitable for hollow aluminium extrusions with a minimum internal depth of 44mm. The Kit 3A configuration provides external key operation with an internal thumbturn, allowing convenient keyless egress from inside the premises. The kit is supplied without a cylinder (NC), allowing a compatible dormakaba 130-type oval cylinder to be selected separately. Its non-handed chassis supports left-hand and right-hand inswing or outswing doors, while the adjustable locking bar allows the lock function to be configured on site. An auxiliary deadlatch automatically engages when the door closes, helping prevent shimming and forced manipulation of the main latch.
